Hi beautiful game-changers,
I am so deeply grateful to all of you. It was just over 21 months ago that I started the gamechanger.co community. It was simple: I had a passion to bring together the brightest minds and warmest hearts, amidst the chaos of the pandemic, to explore how we create the future we want and how we not only survive, but thrive in uncertainty.
This one little courageous act of creating something heartfelt (Gamechanger.co) with no other purpose than its creation itself led to so much more in my life in alignment with its intention.
At the time, in my wildest dreams I could not have imagined that Gamechanger.co would spawn new vehicles for my intention and attention. I could not have imagined that 21 months later, the Gamechanger.co passion project would lead to….
Building Disco.co to allow other creators to run their own live learning communities and manifest their own transformative live learning experiences and communities.
Having some of my very favourite guests (super aligned with the intention of Gamechanger.co (creating the future we want) design their own experiences for transformation.

It is a dream come true to partner with Margaret Atwood, she was my second guest on our Gamechanger series and re-watching the talk is quite something as it was super early in the pandemic. In many ways it is a great time capsule of what we were experiencing in April 2020 as we were trying to make meaning of the pandemic.
On reflection and why I want to share this little story with you is because there is a lot of talk about how startups are really hard (and they are!). Quite frankly anything new or creative is hard. But work like this (that is aligned with your passion + purpose) makes working hard easier. It is an honour to work with people and on ideas you have great reverence for. I feel extremely grateful to help share Margaret Atwood’s brilliance, creativity, intention of stewardship and knowledge with the world. To me, it is work that matters.
A huge thank you to all of you for giving me the courage, confidence and purpose to begin my journey of building with intention. I am sharing this backstory as I hope it gives you permission to trust yourselves to play/experiment and create around your intentions as you never know what lies beyond your first steps...
